7 B.SC. AVIATION
B.Sc. in Aviation is a 3 years long Undergraduate Degree program. This course covers topics such as Air Regulations, Navigation, Meteorology, Aircraft and Engine, Air Traffic Control, Aviation Security, Flight Safety and Crew Management. After pursuing this course, successful candidates may take up jobs such as Air Traffic Controller, Ground operations staff, Cargo management staff, Ticketing staff etc.

8 DIPLOMA IN AIRFARE AND TICKETING MANAGEMENT
This course will suit those who want to take up a ground duty job. It is a Diploma certificate course. Course duration could be anywhere between 6 months to 1 year. This course is available in part time as well as full time formats. The course covers topics such as- Airline codes, ticketing terminology, Electronic ticketing, Passport and Visas, Foreign Exchange, Airfares and ticketing software. 9 AME (AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEERING)
AME is a 3 years long technical training course. Academic program is 2½ years long. After the academic program, students also have to go through 6 months long internship program. On successfully completing academic program and internship, one will be awarded AME license by the DGCA.
Aircraft maintenance engineers deal with inspection, maintenance and servicing of aircraft. Licensed AME professionals are usually hired by Government Airline as well as Private Airlines. Aviation Organizations, Aircraft maintenance firms and Flying Schools are also known to recruit them.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

10 DIPLOMA IN AVIATION & AIRLINE HOSPITALITY
Diploma in Aviation Hospitality is a diploma certificate program. As the name suggests, this program deals with various aspects of aviation hospitality sector. The aviation sector gives much importance to customer service and hospitality. Aviation hospitality practice includes aspects such as – assisting passengers, providing them with food and beverage, taking care of on boarding process, checking boarding pass and more.

14 SPL
SPL stands for Student Pilot License. If you want to fly an aircraft, this is the first and basic license requirement that you must have. One may apply for SPL at a flying school or club. Before securing admission, one must satisfy certain requirements (physical, medical and academic).

- Applicant must be at least 16 years of age while applying for SPL

15 PPL
PPL stands for Private Pilot License. It is an advanced license when compared to the SPL. One may apply for PPL at a flying club or school.

16 DIPLOMA IN CABIN CREW TRAINING
Flight attendants are general known as air hostess or flight steward. They are also known as cabin crew. They form an integral part of the airline industry. Cabin crew plays a huge role in aviation hospitality and customer service.
They help passengers in different ways. They play an important role on the on boarding process, provide safety instructions to passengers, provide the passengers with food and beverage, take care of passengers with special needs and more.

Aviation course admission in India after 12th
Admission process may vary from one college to another. Many good colleges have a merit-based admission process. Under merit-based admission system, seats are distributed among eligible candidates on the basis of their performance in board exam, entrance exam or other relevant selection examination. Some other colleges carry out direct admission process. Under this system, seats are allotted among eligible candidates on first come, first served basis.
