Methods to login to your ur courses account

Students may login to their ur courses account using the following methods –

  1. Using the CAS (Central Authentication Service)
  2. By entering their alternative credentials (username & password created through the University of Regina portal)

 

Here are the common errors that you may face while trying to login –

 

Forgot your password or username

In this case, you may generate a new password easily. Access the login page mentioned above and click on the ‘forgotten your username or password’ link.

 

After clicking on the link, you will be redirected to a password or username recovery page. Enter your 9-digit student id and your date or birth. You will be taken through the password or username recovery process. You will receive the recovery link on your registered email address.

 

Invalid username

In this case, it is likely that you entered a wrong username while logging in. Check your username carefully and enter the characters correctly. Check for issues such as – missed keystrokes & capitalization of text. If you are still getting ‘invalid username’ message, just follow the steps mentioned in the previous section. Click on ‘forgotten your username or password’ link and check your correct and valid username.

 

Inactive account or deactivation of ur courses account

Due to technical issues, your ur courses account may be flagged as inactive. In such cases, you may contact the IT support team of University of Regina (it.support@uregina.ca) and request help. After verifying your credentials and academic status, the IT team will be able to activate your account easily through their backend system.
