As you can see, right after 10th, you won’t have much choices when it comes to courses. Also, most of the reputed fashion technology and design institutes have 10+2 as the minimum educational qualification required to secure an admission.
I suggest my readers to go for 11th and 12th schooling after 10th standard. After completing your 12th standard board examination, you will become eligible to pursue even better courses, such as- BFT (Bachelor of Fashion Technology), Bachelor of Fashion Communication, Bachelor of Design, Bachelor of Fashion Merchandising etc.
These Bachelor’s Degree programs are much more valuable than the Diploma and Certificate programs, which you folks could pursue after 10th. Thus, if you ask me, I’d say that waiting for 2 more years after 10th and finishing 12th board examination will prove to be beneficial in the long run!
The best part is that you may even pursue these Bachelor’s Degree courses from some of the best fashion and design institutes in India (the likes of NIFT and NID)! You may follow these Bachelor’s Degree courses up with PG courses like- Master’s Degree in Design, PG Diploma programs, PhD program etc.
