How to Fill Up Kerala Polytechnic Application Form 2024

Kerala Polytechnic admission process is around the corner! The first stage of the admission process is filling up the application form online. In this article, you will find everything you need to know about Kerala Polytechnic Application form 2024.

Going by previous year’s schedule, Kerala Polytechnic application form will be made available in the second week of May, 2024. The application window will remain open for around two weeks. Also check – Engineering colleges in Kerala.

 

The application process will be carried out online. All the interested candidates are expected to apply online within the stipulated time-frame.

Application and Registration Process

  • Kerala Polytechnic admission doesn’t take place through separate entrance test
  • Seats are allotted to deserving candidates on the basis of marks secured by them in 10th or 12th board exam
  • Candidates can apply online under multiple options such as – regular seats, management seats, sports quota and NCC quota.

How to apply for Kerala Polytechnic Admission?

 

Step 1 – Applying online

This is the first step. The application form has to be filled and submitted online. Candidates may fill up the application form online on polyadmission.org website.

 

It can be done on any computer with internet connection. Yes, you can apply online from the comfort of your home!

 

What about students who don’t have computer or access to internet, you may ask. For such students, the Government has set up Help Desks. You may visit nearest help desk and fill up your application form online.

 

Step 2 – Filling up the application form

After accessing the portal, you will be able to find links such as – Online Submission, Management Seats, Sports Quota and NCC Quota.

 

These are various options under which you may apply for seats! Click on the ‘Online Submission’ link if you want to apply for regular seats in Government, Aided and Self Financed Polytechnic Colleges.

 

Click on ‘Management Seats’ link if you are interested in management seats of Aided and SF Colleges. Click in ‘Sports Quota’ link if you are interested in landing a sports quota seat. Click on ‘NCC Quota’ link if you are interested in seats reserved under the NCC quota.

 

Click on the relevant link. It will take you to the main application form page. On this page, you are supposed to enter the required information. You will be asked to enter details such as –

  • Name of the candidate
  • School/Institute
  • Interested Discipline
  • Address
  • Religion and Caste
  • And more…

 

Fill up the application form correctly. Make sure that you enter the correct details. Later, you will be asked to verify the the information through relevant documents!

 

Step 3 – Submit the application and print it

After filling up the application form, it is time to submit it. Before submitting, make sure that you entered the correct details.

 

After clicking on ‘Submit’ button, you will find an option to print the application. Click on ‘Print Application’ option to get the printout.

 

Step 4 – Registering the application

The last step is to get the application form registered. Registration can be done at the nearest Government or Aided Polytechnic College.

 

The printout of the application must be signed by the candidate and his/her parent/guardian before it is registered. The candidate should also carry self-attested copies of relevant documents while going for registration.

 

Officials will verify the details on the application form by going through the documents. The list of documents have been provided ahead in this post.

 

Once the application if registered, the authorities will provide you with a registration number. The status of your application form can be tracked online using this registration number.

 

Wrong information provided in the application can lead to its forfeiture! Make sure that you enter the correct details.
