The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a non-profit educational foundation that offers four high-quality educational programmes to students aged 3 to 19.

IB schools are known to offer four programmes. They are –

  • The Primary Years Programme (PYP) is for students aged 3 to 12. It focuses on developing students’ inquiry, communication, and personal and social skills.
  • The Middle Years Programme (MYP) is for students aged 11 to 16. It focuses on developing students’ intellectual, social, and emotional skills.
  • The Diploma Programme (DP) is for students aged 16 to 19. It is a two-year programme that leads to a diploma that is recognized by universities around the world. The DP is a rigorous programme that focuses on developing students’ critical thinking, research, and communication skills.
